Cloud Bread

This cloud bread is super light, fluffy, and requires only a few ingredients. It is a lower calorie alternative to normal bread. Not to mention, its keto/low carb diet friendly!

Ingredients:

2 eggs

2 Tablespoons of fat free greek yogurt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

pinch of salt

Directions:

Step #1:

After preheating your oven to 450°F, separate your egg yolks and egg whites. Place your egg whites in a larger bowl and your yolks in a smaller bowl.

Step #2:

Add the greek yogurt to your egg yolks and mix well. I like to use Fage fat free greek yogurt.

Step #3:

To your egg whites, add in the baking powder & cream of tartar.

Step #4:

Using a hand mixer or stand mixer whip your egg whites until it forms stiff peaks

Step #5

After whipping your egg whites, fold in the egg yolk mixture with a pinch of salt.

Step #6

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Evenly distribute the batter in to 6 scoops on the tray. Make sure to space them out. To make this process easier, I like to pour my batter into a ziploc bag and pipe the batter out on to the tray.

Step #7:

Bake at 450°F for 15-20 minutes!
